ABOUT

Ogopogo is one of the many sea monsters in the world, but he lives in B.C.'s very own lake Okanagan. Ogopogo is said to be 20-50 feet long. The monster tends to appear in an area just south of Kelowna in waters near Peachland. Natives think Ogopogo lives in a cave under Squally Point near Rattlesnake Island which is offshore from Peachland.

SIGHTINGS

There have been so many "sightings" of Ogopogo, These are some examples and the people who claimed to have seen Ogopogo. These people consist of a priest, a sea captain, a surgeon and police officers. They describe the monster as "Something that looked like a huge tree trunk or log floating on the lake, (but) going against the current and not with it."Others have seen a blunt-nosed head, shaped like that of a horse or a goat, with a dark blue, or black, body and flippers or fins, or a creature with a horse like head and a serpent body, but what DOES Ogopogo look like, and does he even exist?
